9:30-10:00 Maura Tyrrell – Cell phones as clickers
FIT pilot 1- Maura spent the semester piloting Turning Point Anywhere with students using their cell phones as clickers; an alternative to purchasing the clicker hardware.
10-10:30 Daria Valentini– Student video project
ITA 331– Italy: Language and Identity- Students in this upper level Italian class improve oral proficiency by creating a video with a Flip Camera and iMovie.
10:30-11 Beth Belanger– Digital Stories
FIT pilot 2- Students were asked to present their research on the theme “American Identities” in digital story form. Beth will present the steps/process involved to produce a quality Digital Story.
11-11:30 Jack Jackson/Jan Harrison– Lecture Capture Evaluation Program
Lecture capture systems provide the ability to capture class lectures and convert them into podcasts, video, rich media and more for playback anytime on multiple platforms.
11:30 Lunch- Open discussions with IT over a light lunch
